Advantage Funding Limited is a subsidiary of The Advantage Group.​ ​ Advantage (A.H.C.I.) are a leading provider of Structural Defects Insurance throughout the UK, benefiting from a ​ 10-year growth strategy, with an expected annual turnover this coming financial year in-excess of £30m, with 54 FTE working with various rated insurers they have provided cover and monitored construction projects to the value in-excess of £6bn and annually complete in-excess of 3000 transactions.​ ​ Advantage Funding is London-based and a provider of short-term secured lending to the UK property industry. It is currently seeking £100– 200m of debt capital to fund its direct lending platform (the “Platform”). Through its wide network and reputable management team, Advantage sources a variety of real estate projects requiring flexible short-term financing (average loan size of £2m). The company’s Platform provides risk mitigated exposure to a growing market with promising macroeconomic prospects. The company is seeking one or multiple investors to participate in the funding of its Platform and can construct a flexible loan portfolio tailored to an investor’s desired risk/return profile. ​

The team

Keith Aldridge Founder

With a career in financial services that extends over 25 years and as a specialist in entrepreneurial start-ups, Keith was at the forefront of short-term lending when he launched Capital Bridging Finance in 2009. During the next decade in a challenging recessionary environment, Keith evolved an innovative distribution model, stakeholder, risk and credit strategy taking the business from zero to over £500M AUM. *over 12-year period in-excess of £3bn lending. ​

Capital Bridging was renamed Amicus PLC in 2015; a business that grew to a headcount of over 180 employees. He has developed a reputation and market position as a strategist and opinion setter in short term property finance and is often quoted in the press. In 2019, Keith founded a new business in partnership with M&G, Atelier Capital Partners, recreating the infrastructure to create a market leading opportunity within short term lending. ​

Mark McBriar Founder

With over a 35-year career in debt advisory, Estate Agency, creation of a specialist bridging lender and founder of Adapt Finance, Mark has received national recognition and industry awards as an entrepreneurial and innovative thinker. ​​​

Over the last 8 years, in-excess of £700m direct to client has been introduced into the specialist lending sector. Utilising his extensive network of industry contacts, relationships have been forged with industry stakeholders and funding lines serviced with Arbuthnot Latham & Bank of Ireland.​​
